ABOUT TIM KELLY Tim has worked in the music business from the ages of vinyl through to streaming, establishing a reputation for marketing, management + industry advocacy. He is founding director of Open Collar, which facilitates people and businesses to transform to open thinking environments enabling high performance creativity, innovation, problem solving + wellbeing. Tim’s career has included senior roles at Universal Music (GM Marketing, Australia), Sony Music (GM Marketing, Australasia), Inertia Music (Managing Director), Head of International for UK independent Rough Trade Records and he was co-founder of One Little Indian Records (home to artists such as Bjork). In addition to these activities he has also played in bands, worked as a roady, written for fanzines and completed a BA Honours in Politics, Philosophy + History at the University of London.


Tim’s presentation will examine the disruption of the music business this century and discuss how this has generated both conformity and innovation in ideas, music + the arts.
